But these are a bit more fashion friendly and simple at the same time. I made mine to wear when we go on hikes, dog park, farmers markets, etc. Now its easy to bring all those unnecessary items, that I think <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">are</span> necessary to bring--- like my lipgloss, snack, cell phone, lotion--- as well as the things that I really do need with me.</div><div>I used this fabric (and non matching zipper) just as a practice one-- I didn't want to ruin any good fabric. </div><div>It has one inner pocket with a key hook, and a hidden pocket in the back, to stash money or whatnot. The belt is adjustable so it can fit any size. </div><div><br /></div><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVgBqowGjtHsyqCSLC7grwvKmbfr3z2pP0CE2SFX20-Zm82CE8iG-YJ7pR8CRG_9UP9NXF9X-K_yNetBFKLHZBmzleOATEYs60_o3yfKwwm6mcOGoDpfSaOgTG5VYveVsXugQHIvyNkUo/s1600-h/Photo+1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVgBqowGjtHsyqCSLC7grwvKmbfr3z2pP0CE2SFX20-Zm82CE8iG-YJ7pR8CRG_9UP9NXF9X-K_yNetBFKLHZBmzleOATEYs60_o3yfKwwm6mcOGoDpfSaOgTG5VYveVsXugQHIvyNkUo/s320/Photo+1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5186214590265769554" /></a><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /><br /></div></div>Darcyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02866504944463123452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915217436301924595.post-92198527593180146052008-03-04T12:47:00.000-08:002008-12-11T11:40:18.815-08:00Strike Two!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_XO6dMyd3hYWyzyqUHCKDgjYJDobJjn4Cj8o6V2nDCZh0NzYRcGnROgFBWsRLRaxN9O71NLIoiXfH5WaC4BPbAJD8I2W_wWxpZwfwwr7toslz8Yr1ORo9JORZk-6fMyTB8GhdLsX0S84/s1600-h/blog+002.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5174087870213184834" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 180px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 304px" height="295" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_XO6dMyd3hYWyzyqUHCKDgjYJDobJjn4Cj8o6V2nDCZh0NzYRcGnROgFBWsRLRaxN9O71NLIoiXfH5WaC4BPbAJD8I2W_wWxpZwfwwr7toslz8Yr1ORo9JORZk-6fMyTB8GhdLsX0S84/s320/blog+002.jpg" width="187" border="0" /></a><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">I made my mom a pair of pajama pants for xmas and after I made them, I realized they weren't going to fit, but let her know I'd be making a new pair for her soon. I created appliques for some onesies to give to Alisha at her baby shower. Of course -- the appliques are suitable for any age! Yay!<br /></span><div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">The last few days, I have been reorganizing our den area. I am trying to make it less of an eyesore for people who come over to visit! It's been on my "to-do" list for quite some time now. I am going to create a workstation for myself that I'll mostly use for sewing, but that can be multi-functional when needed. I will be making curtains to hide our storage area, making some inviting pillows for the futon and moving some furtinture around so I can create my workspace. Here is some inspiration for myself: <a href="http://seworganized.com/design.html">http://seworganized.com/design.html</a><br /></div></span><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">---But, before I started that... I had to make a scarf that I came up with when King Crafts sent me a tutorial for another scarf that she is making. Mine is just your everyday typical scarf, but I've been wanting a scarf with that pattern on it & I just added the tassles for a touch of color. See it below. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Now, I just need to start my other projects -- I'll post them soon enough.</span></div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinF9UA2GhAYtVKqC85FiycfDdqw2LRQLYvDBh_Qc_yPGyZxm8Zpml0cX8T14SmhuvxfWZNBk_EEY7lTnHvzIYJH8JeV6gjpSR01JO5lMFa20CateRLZZCZcXWRnaHcvXiRR4FABm3wpV4/s1600-h/Scarf.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5169659870668175026" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinF9UA2GhAYtVKqC85FiycfDdqw2LRQLYvDBh_Qc_yPGyZxm8Zpml0cX8T14SmhuvxfWZNBk_EEY7lTnHvzIYJH8JeV6gjpSR01JO5lMFa20CateRLZZCZcXWRnaHcvXiRR4FABm3wpV4/s200/Scarf.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;"></span></div></div></div>Darcyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02866504944463123452noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915217436301924595.post-61644262711602181542007-12-05T18:19:00.000-08:002008-12-11T11:40:20.252-08:00Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!<strong>Craft Fair on Sunday!</strong><br /><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">I am sharing a craft table (at my first craft fair) with my friend who is great at sewing! It's in Richmond this Sunday! I'm racing the clock trying to get a decent amount of items done and ready to sell. So far, I have about 5 clutches like the one in previous post (in other colors/fabric), few tote bags (like the one pictured), Button rings, coasters, bibs and baby booties! Whew! Now only if I could figure out this darn hat pattern! It's pretty cute, but sooo time consuming... oh well -- onto the next thing.
